ABOUT THIS EXHIBIT

The curators of La Cañada Community Sites - Then & Now were members of the Lanterman Research Internship Program during the summer of 2024. The interns spend a month researching sites of historic significance in La Cañada’s history. Using the Lanterman House Archives, the interns created presentations and videos showing the history of each site. To explore each site, click on the photo of it below.

ABOUT THE LANTERMAN RESEARCH INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Four area high school students completed the fifth annual Lanterman summer internship program during June of 2024. Each intern selected two historic sites in the community. Using the materials available in the Lanterman House Archives, they each wrote an article for Neighbors magazine and created the slide shows and short videos displayed here. Their work this summer added to our ongoing mission to tell the story of our community for all to enjoy.
