The Lanterman Historical Museum Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) institution; all contributions are fully tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. The Foundation preserves, restores, operates and displays the Lanterman House and Archives. Donations make it possible to carry out the educational programs, exhibitions, and preservation critical to our mission.
Since 1990, the Foundation has
Restored all interior hand-painted decorative work, including the Breakfast Room mural
Recreated original wallpapers, draperies and floor coverings throughout the house.
Restored the courtyard and recreated the pond and fountain
Restored and maintain the period gardens.
Maintained and displayed the original furnishings and decorative arts collections of the Lanterman House.
