Using images and materials from the Lanterman Archives, Archivist Julie Yamashita will tell the dramatic story of how the 210 Freeway came to La Cañada. Join us for a free illustrated talk about this significant period in La Cañada Flintridge’s history. 

 Julie Yamashita is the Archivist of the Lanterman House. She is also an Executive Committee member of L.A. as Subject as well as Chair-Elect of the Lone Arrangers Section of the Society of American Archivists.

No reservations required; however, seating is limited to 50. 

The lecture will be held in the Visitor Center of the Lanterman House. If you wish to take a tour of the historic house, please make a reservation for the 1pm tour.
