Break out your aviator sunglasses and bring your Dad to enjoy an afternoon showing of John Newcombe's latest film: CHiPs in the Crescenta Valley!

Almost a half-century ago, a popular TV series about the travails of two California Highway Patrol motorcycle officers was a highly-rated hit on television. The first two seasons of “CHiPs” was filmed almost entirely on the not-yet-open 2 and 210 Freeways from La Cañada to Sun Valley, and even spilling onto the streets of La Crescenta and La Cañada. Using clips and audio from the show, local filmmaker John Newcombe has compiled an entertaining blast from our past.

The free narrated film will be shown on the grounds of the historic Lanterman House. Seating is limited--make a reservation to guarantee a seat.
